SENIOR PICTURE:
If you are a senior, or foreign exchange student who will not be here next year, we will have Niceswanger Photography at the Rec following the concert, to do your group photo. I am looking into the possibility of Niceswanger doing family music pictures for making buttons at a reasonable cost.

T-SHIRT ORDER
If you are wanting to order a shirt from Envisions with the All Strings logo on it, please see me for an envelope as I will want to place that order by April 1st. You can do a variety of colors, however the Patriotic concert will be red, white or blue shirt.

February/March 2008

Bears repeating: from the clinic held by Professor Bernhardt. Amateurs practice AT the music, musicians practice to play it right, and professionals practice to NOT play it wrong. Practicing DOES have its merit. Please, parents, be cognizant of the environment in which your child does practice. Take time to be involved, and give praise when deserved.

NEW MEMBERS THIS SPRING:

I would like to introduce to you new members of the studio. Joining the symphony string family are junior violist, Erik Streufert & and his father Jim, cellist. They have located to Lake City as Jim will work for Dobson Organ Co. They hail from Fairbault, MN. Joining the elementary and junior strings are sisters Elise & Millicent Cameron on viola and cello respectively. They reside in Arcadia. From the Auburn area Sidney Phillips has joined on violin. Playing bass for Jazzers, and hopefully symphony, Dr. Martin has joined the ranks! Welcome, everyone, to our huge family!

CHRISTMAS CONCERT REVIEW:

So many positive comments were received from this concert! And I thank you for making this a success! I thank Dr. Martin and the Community Chorus for being such an important part of it too! I so appreciate my symphony being so kind and receptive to Professor Bernhardt, especially in the clinic. I hope to have him back for our 2008 Christmas Concert on December 21st. Any thoughts??
